I am planning nothing major this week except Thanksgiving dinner with my son, and he is cooking the turkey. You are a brave soul, dealing with a houseful of 8 year olds! I would bet they had fun. :)Vickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09409645438732452330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6292915201767940326.post-38334962322321971532017-11-20T13:45:09.401-06:002017-11-20T13:45:09.401-06:00You deserve a rest after all that canning! I processed them in my pressure canner, using the longest time it took for the vegetables. The peas took 40 minutes and that time was longer than the rest. I don't use corn in a soup base because corn in pint jars takes 75 minutes and I was afraid some of the other vegetables might turn to mush if processed that long. If I want corn in a soup, I just add it when heating.Vickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09409645438732452330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6292915201767940326.post-46254150819242458562017-11-19T23:32:50.234-06:002017-11-19T23:32:50.234-06:00Did you put the soup base in the jars raw and can ...Did you put the soup base in the jars raw and can it?Practical Parsimonyhttp://www.practical-parsimony.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6292915201767940326.post-37285519587751904552017-11-17T06:23:42.376-06:002017-11-17T06:23:42.376-06:00Hope you get to feeling better soon, Kristina.
