I am so lucky that my landlord fixed our heating/ac system last year. I don't know why it is, but the kids seem to be able to take the extreme temps better than the grownups. I don't know how much rain fell here. It only rained hard for maybe 10 minutes. But with the health issues that have plagued me this past year, I tend to be a bit more cautious. I hate that I have to be. But it makes no sense to tempt fate when it isn't necessary. Have to keep telling myself that I'm not 30 any more. Not by a long shot. :)Vickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09409645438732452330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6292915201767940326.post-92064130141694351152015-07-13T20:38:49.667-05:002015-07-13T20:38:49.667-05:00Don't get me started on the humidity, I though...Don't get me started on the humidity, I thought I was back in Fla. I asked my oldest son about getting us an a/c and we was more interested in being paid back the money. It was a living hell yesterday, Sammy came through ok, but his mom was not doing very well. We picked up 1.5 inches rain. A group from CAP went to Gull lake tonight to help with some clean up.Robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16800149852939042454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6292915201767940326.post-3869889861486173992015-07-13T20:31:55.722-05:002015-07-13T20:31:55.722-05:00Gorges is right. Getting out in high humidity and ...Gorges is right. Getting out in high humidity and high heat can make you really sick in short order. I am going outside at dawn and after dusk, for the most part, and staying inside the rest of the day. The weather says a cold front is coming through and it will be cooler and less humid here soon. I hope so.Harry Flashmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05071021900005041592noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6292915201767940326.post-2639038593342347212015-07-13T06:02:54.666-05:002015-07-13T06:02:54.666-05:00You suspect right, Gorges. On the UP side, I am never bored. :)Vickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09409645438732452330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6292915201767940326.post-69600939526551447832015-07-13T04:37:51.921-05:002015-07-13T04:37:51.921-05:00You're wise to stay in.
