That is the question.
I have seen many reports from government officials who tell us we must.
I have seen many reports from reputable medical professionals who say we should not.
I am going with 'should not' and here's why...
https://thenewamerican.com/bio-warfare-weaponization-of-medicine-amid-covid/
What I am doing is stocking up on Vitamin C, Vitamin D and Zinc. And I am living my life as close to normal as possible.
I have nothing against those who follow all the restrictions and guidelines. Grownups are capable of deciding what they want to do. But for me, I do not have enough time left to waste it by living in fear.
My thanks to my friend 'Red' for sharing the video with me. And to others who keep me informed. It is appreciated.
Do your research. Make up your own mind. And to those who think it is alright to shame those who do not believe as you do...
Just Stop.
I don't shame anyone who gets the vaccine, but I do fear for them.
ReplyDeleteI am completely with you on this one, Gorges. There are way too many 'unknowns.'
DeleteMe too. With restrictions removed, the reported adverse side-effects, and the constant push to force vaccination, suspicion is mandated. Nobody knows the long term effects, and I don't want to be a laboratory animal.
DeleteJess...I am not anti vaccines. I am anti experimental vaccines. The final straw for me was when the drug companies were granted immunity from prosecution should anything go wrong. There should be no need for protection from lawsuits unless they are unable to guarantee the safety of their product.
DeleteVicki~ My sister had one dose of the "vaccine" and her arm swelled 3 times its size. She had to cut off her shirt and bra. It was 72 hours before the swelling went down. My daughter had one dose of the "vaccine" and passed out hitting the floor. I let my Doc know and he said Nope. Don't take it. Here is another explanation of the shots

I had one of the last Smallpox vaccines at 16. The only reason was my Dad was in the Military and would be in places that still had Smallpox. I'm wondering how many cases of Whooping Cough were treated as Covid? Same with Flu? Red
Red...I just can't see taking a chance on a vaccine when the recovery rate for the virus in nearly all age groups is 99.8%. There are too many reports of adverse side effects and too little known in general to get me interested in taking the vax. And by the way, isn't it remarkable how few cases of the flu have been reported this year>
DeleteThanks for this ink and the one further down. I appreciate all that you do to keep us informed.
I'm in the "I'm an adult and I don't need to know your opinion about my life" camp. I'll live with the consequences of my decisions and allow others to live their lives on their own terms.
ReplyDeleteCheers, SJ in Vancouver BC Canada
SJ...That's exactly the way it should be. We are capable of deciding what is best for us and don't need some government official telling us what we need to do. Or anyone else, for that matter. I will admit to getting my knickers in a knot when someone tells me I 'have to' do something. Sort of like waving a red cape at a mad bull, but I digress. :)
DeleteHere is another video ~Red

Thanks much, Red. Well worth the time to watch.
DeleteI feel the same way. My mother plans to get it, and it scares me. She has had allergic reactions to medications in the past, and I just fear the vaccine. There are medications to treat the virus, so why the vaccine anyway. Just doesn't make sense to me.
ReplyDeleteKristina...When we have medications that work to treat the virus and those medications have been around for years, I see no reason at all to take something that is still experimental. Some believe if they take the vax, life will return to normal, but my fear is that it will just give us a whole new set of medical issues to deal with.
ReplyDeleteMy mom got the "vaccine." After her second shot, she felt awful for the next couple of days. My wife and I believe we had COVID back before there was any news of it; back in early FEB20. We felt "awful for a couple of days." Then we went on with life. We chalked it up to "the flu." Why would I take a "vaccine" that makes me just as sick as if I had what the "vaccine" is supposed to protect me from???
ReplyDelete"Following all the guidelines" isn't worth the truncation of my liberties. I'll take my chances with my freedoms intact...
Pete...I am right there with you. I am not anti vax. I take a pneumonia shot every few years. But I will not take something that I know so little about. I realize that at my age, long term side effects don't mean much, but hey. Ya never know. I might just be ornery enough to live to be 100, in which case, long term effects could very well be bothersome.
DeleteFollowing guidelines, especially those put out there by government officials, has never been my long suit. Keeping what freedoms I have left is way more important than any rules and regulations tossed out there by aforementioned boneheads.
We were just chatting with our neighbor about it yesterday. She is 70 and still working and she said nope, not getting it. We said the same. I'm not anti-vaccine either. My mom (age 79) lives in retirement place and she got both doses (and no issues) and I'm ok with that. It makes her feel less anxious.
ReplyDeleteOne Family...Each person has to decide for themselves what their course of action will be. I have no doubt that if my parents still lived, they would be lining up to get the vax. I question nearly everything, so it is not on my schedule. If it gives your mom peace of mind, that then is a good thing.
