My daughter danced with a troop for a few years, after she moved off and was in Jacksonville, Florida. She really enjoyed it and they went to very interesting places. It's a good thing for young women to participate in. I think it is a very positive experience.
Harry...Maddie is only 9 1/2 years old, but she and her older sister dance on the team that is in competitions for the dance studio where they take lessons. They both love dancing and competing, and I think it has been good for them. This photo was taken last weekend when Maddie was at a competition and performed a solo. I'm grandma, so I get to brag a little!
David...You can see by that smile on her face that reaches her eyes, that she loves what she is doing. It is such a joy to watch both Maddie and Boston dance. I know they melt your heart, as they do mine. I have seen those tears while watching your babies on stage. Love, Mom
Staci...When you watch her dance, you can tell beyond a shadow of a doubt that she is just loving every second of it. I saw that last year in her trio performance, and more so this year in her solo. That's one of the things that makes her such a wonderful dancer. That, and the fact that she is my granddaughter!!!
Mom of four, Grandma of six, and Great Grandma of two, who writes about events both past and present, about preparedness and an occasional rant tossed in for good measure, as well as anything else that happens to come to mind, and who enjoys my retired life in general.

ReplyDeleteMom - She truly loves to dance and perform on stage. She melts my heart (most of the time).
