Round 2

Symptoms started last evening.  When I woke up this morning there was no doubt that the flu had returned.  I am not alone.  Chickenmom has also had a relapse, as have several others.  I will return when I feel less like something you would scrape off the bottom of your shoe and more like my old self.  Be careful out there.  This stuff will sneak up on you and kick your behind, given half a chance.

  2. I hope you feel better soon. I have been using my homemade hand sanitizer in hopes that I don't get sick again.

    1. Thanks, Kristina...Take whatever precautions you can. This second round of this flu is worse than the first. I will survive - just will take longer this time, I think.

  3. So sorry you're under the weather again. I've heard that's happened with a few of my friends with this year's flu.
The birthday party I hosted over the weekend was a big success. And, I've been able to manage pretty well since then. No big crashes yet with my energy but I've been taking it super easy.

    1. SJ...This go-around of the flu blindsided me. Wasn't expecting it at all. I'm really taking it easy this time.
Glad your party was a success and that you didn't have to suffer consequences. That is a bonus for us, isn't it. :)
I think it is our turn for snowstorms. The weather guessers are predicting a storm to roll in on Friday and they say we could get at least a foot of the white stuff - maybe more. Sure glad I have my deep pantry!!

  4. I didn't know you could have a relapse of the flu. I better tone down some, another bout with that would croak me.

    1. Harry...I knew about the possibility of relapse from reading some of the blogs I like. Take your own advice and tone it down some. I think maybe I tried to do too much too soon. Lucky for me - I'm a little bit too ornery to die just yet, although I thought for a while that possibility was up for grabs. :)
