Sometimes...

there is a need to just stop and smell the roses.  Or the coffee, if you prefer.

This year we seem to have our noses buried in the thorns rather than the flowers.

There was a time when the news was about the everyday events in our neighborhoods, our country, the world.  Now it seems we have two choices - elections or virus.

Considering that both topics are all about controlling the population, I find myself weary of both.

Those who are more concerned with their own power and ill gotten wealth care for nothing else.  We The People are just a pesky inconvenience to them.  They wouldn't know Truth if it bit them on the bum.

There was a time when we stood a chance of voting them out.  Given the rampant fraud of the last election, I doubt that is possible any more.  And even if it were possible, the elite have succeeded in dividing us as a nation.  When we lived in a time where we were united in fighting evil, there was nothing we could not accomplish.  Sadly, those days as well as many of our God given Constitutional rights are behind us.

So what do we do?

Me...I have handed the whole shebang over to God, for He is the only one who can give us Justice and set us free from the Slavery that lurks just around the next corner.

And although the Powers That Be wish to control every aspect of my life, I refuse to give up my Soul.  I have heard it said that the very best revenge on those who would wish us to be miserable, is to live life to the fullest.  So I continue to do the things that make me happy.  And I continue to prepare for whatever curve ball those scum of the earth decide to throw at us.

So to all those greedy, power hungry, miserable excuses for human beings, you can just go pound sand.  For We The People have something you will never have.  We have love for our country.   We have the love of family.  We have the capacity to truly care about our fellow man.

And we have an Ace in the Hole.  Remember how you banned prayer from our schools?  And insisted that Nativity scenes be removed from the public square?  And you closed the churches based on a lie?  And all the other things you did that are against His Commandments?

We might not be able to fix everything you have wrecked in our beloved nation, but I sure would not want to be in your shoes come Judgement Day.

  1. Indeed, Vicki; better we fear the One who can condemn our souls to hell than the ones who can merely take our lives! That being said, when... not if... the time comes to stand up for what I believe and what I value, I will do so, and will do it unafraid. I worship God, Almighty, I believe in the concept of America, and, like Nathan Hale, regret only that I have but one life to give for my country...

    1. Pete...I am too old and too worn out to physically fight any more. So my fight has to be in refusing to comply with ridiculous edicts and to exercise my God given rights, even when the powers that be try to tell me I can't. Those elite would like us to just sit down and shut up. Nope. Not gonna do it. Not now. Not ever.

    2. Make your stand where you stand, with what you've got, Vicki. That's all any of us can do.

I'm no spring chicken either... However, old age and cunning will out-do youth and skill...

Happy and BLESSED New Year to you and yours!

    3. Pete...Too many believe the only way to take a stand is out in the streets, armed to the teeth. That could happen, but there are other ways to defeat an enemy. I am particularly fond of the stories of WWII resistance fighters that would sneak in, hit the enemy and sneak out before the enemy knew what happened. They were compared to mosquitoes who were tiny but who had the ability to drive the enemy plumb crazy!

We have experience to fall back on that the young do not. I have heard it said to never pick a fight with an old man. They have nothing to lose and they don't play fair. They will just nail you.

A Happy New Year to you and yours, Pete. May you be well and truly blessed.

our power lies in praying to the One Who has all power
when i say pray more i am really talking to myself
those of us old or disabled have still the power of prayer

    2. Pond scum is an apt description, deb...I think many of us are spending more time in prayer these days. We do have the power of prayer, but also the faith to know that in the end, evil will lose.

  6. Great words, Vicki! You said everything I am feeling and everything I believe! Last week when I stood on my deck and looked at the "Jupiter/Saturn conjunction", I said a long prayer of thanks to God for showing me His true power. To imagine that I was blessed to witness something that only happened 400 years ago, in my lifetime....it was amazing and like a voice that said "I AM HERE". We must keep fighting and that night showed me He is fighting with us.

    1. Thanks, lynney62...I had to look at Jupiter/Saturn online. City lights make in-person viewing impossible, but even so, it was an awesome event. Prayer is what will get us through this awful time, no matter which way it goes. And yes, we need to fight in whatever way we can, for this country of ours is worth saving. Me...I still believe in miracles.

  8. Our church is meeting at 10 p.m.to pray in the new year. In this moment, that seems to be all we can do. Going forward we'll see. Happy New Year to you all!

  9. In one of Denzel Washingtons movies, he had a great line. To paraphrase: It is God's job to deal with them as he sees fit, it is my job to arrange the meeting.
I am hopeful to arrange at least one meeting.

    1. That is one great line, Fred...and I can think of several right off the top of my head that would be good candidates for an arranged meeting!

  10. Good evening Vicki. It will be 2021 in a few hours. There are many that will hopefully be delivered into the Hands of Justice sooner than later. I'm past being disappointed. Past being angry. Past even being wanting to pound them into dust. Now it is this.

"Vengeance is mine, and recompense, for the time when their foot shall slip; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and their doom comes swiftly." Deuteronomy 32:35

We had turkey soup and fresh bread for dinner. Received the balance of a seed order. I was able to help a local Vet Tech on getting his garden started now with where to find amendments and seeds. Also about the fake pet food they want to push for Cats and Dogs. Lord, a wake up call for the blinded would be nice about now.

Stay Warm and Safe Everyone. Red

    1. Red...I am pretty much in the same place as you are. Every day brings some new hell we are expected to accept without question or another round of 'lets play politics.' I can't keep up with it any more. It is obvious that nobody in power gives a rodent's behind about what we think, so I am relying on God to sort it all out.

I think the wake up call we would like to see will have to be swift, massive and Divine. Until then, I am just keeping on. I didn't order any groceries this time that needed to be preserved. The next week will be spent rearranging shelves and trying to find more storage space in a three room apartment. It is getting to be critical as there are few spaces left. :)

      Take good care, Red.

  11. Amen Amen!
Handing it all over to God is the only answer at this point. And really that is what He has been showing us for years. So many are waking up, finally!

    1. Totally agree, Mary. It was never up to us anyway! I truly hope more will wake up to Truth. We don't need a 'Great Reset.' What we do need is a 'Great Awakening.'
