Heat Wave

Woke up this morning to a temperature of 49 degrees.  Moisture is on the way but it is in the form of rain.  You don't have to shovel rain.  Or scrape it off your car windshield.

Life is good.

  1. You are warmer than we are, it is currently 39 outside but will manage a cool 63 today. :-)

  2. JMD...I don't know how much more it will warm up today, but 49 degrees at 6 AM the Sunday before Thanksgiving in Minnesota gets a happy dance from me! :)

  6. Dani...In a couple of months I'll trade you some of our cold for some of your heat! Wouldn't it be nice if it worked that way? :)

  8. We had some unusually cold days last week, just like you. With temperatures at freezing in the morning, and afternoon highs in the fifties, it was January weather in November.

Last night, we had torrential rains, and it's in the sixties now. A dry cold front is on the way, but it will only bring seasonal temperatures, which is good. We'll have the typical crisp weather at Thanksgiving, which will bring memories of things new, and things that will never be again.

  9. Mary...We are just about 5 degrees cooler here than there, with drizzle. Am enjoying it while I can. :)

  10. Jess...The snow we got last week is totally gone - washed away by the spring-like rains today. It is warm enough to have a couple of windows cracked open to let in some of that lovely fresh air. Will have to close them this evening, however, when the rains are supposed to turn to snow. But even one day of warmer weather in November in Minnesota is worth a bit of a celebration!
