Rev. Paul...I suppose I would be a bit more peevish if I had to drive in it. Temps look like they will be in the high 60's by the middle of the week. But I couldn't resist doing what we Minnesotans do best.....complain about the weather. :)
Linda...It probably won't amount to much, but here in Minnesota, we just aren't happy unless we can complain about the weather. I have to say that I would rather see lilacs than more snow. :)
Yikes - snow!?! That is just wrong, you're right. We had a big wind storm Friday night. Unusual weather for this time of year. This morning it was 'not raining' ie.partial sunshine. I took advantage and cleaned up the last of my gardens. I can't do anything for very long so I do a little at a time. It was glorious to get outside and play in the dirt. Now, it's overcast again and will rain soon. So it goes in the spring here. Also commented on your prior post. Cheers, SJ
SJ...I don't expect it will amount to much and it will likely be gone by noon the following day. I just want to see green leaves and flowers again. Sigh.
Glad it stopped raining long enough so you could do a little garden work. I sure do understand the joy of being outside playing in the dirt. I miss that, I do. Guess that is one reason I enjoy hearing about what you are doing in your gardens. :)
Relax, don't get your knickers in a bunch. How many times has the forecast been for snow, and nothing. We have a better chance going to the market and buying Hostess Snowballs vs real snow. :)
Thanks, Linda...I couldn't believe my ears when I heard the forecast this morning. I really think it is too warm to snow, but stranger things have happened!!
Oh, Kristina...Pleeeze don't tell me that. :) Truth be known, we actually have had a mild winter. I just am so ready for green, growing things and flowers. And open windows with spring breezes filling my apartment. Soon, I hope.

Doesn't he know that "snow" is a four letter word?
ReplyDeleteGorges...I think that may have been mentioned on the weather report I saw. In April, the word "snow" should be banned. :)
DeleteThe good news is that - IF it snows - it won't be around very long. But I hope he's wrong, for your sake.

ReplyDeleteRob...I know. But that is all I could come up with for a post today. :)
ReplyDeleteVicki,
DeleteIt was a good post! It is what is going on in your life.

DeleteHa ha ha ha! We had snow in May last year. I know what you are feeling.
