I've got nothing. It is hot. It is humid. The air conditioning is working - not so much. Read the folks over in the side bar. I'll be back when my brain starts working again. :)
I had little desire to work in my garden with the extreme temps and high humidity so...I have poured myself a tall glass of ice tea and settled for YouTube garden vlogs and the recliner. Works for me, CWfromIowa
all 3 A/C are running. I have all the lights off in living room, kitchen. Just being cool...Its a day like today you remember Jan. 30th and our -25 temps...Youngest daughter is in Ohio and its ugly there too.
It's 76 with 53% humidity here in my neck of Cali. Before my breast cancer, I could manage heat and humidity. Now, not so much. I'm doing frozen flour sack dishtowels around my neck. Red
Red...My thermostat says 94 degrees with the humidity at 43%. Sure feels more muggy than that. I have gone through a couple of those frozen dishtowels, too. I could tolerate heat better when I was younger, but I think age caught up to me. Sigh.
Mom of four, Grandma of six, and Great Grandma of two, who writes about events both past and present, about preparedness and an occasional rant tossed in for good measure, as well as anything else that happens to come to mind, and who enjoys my retired life in general.
I understand completely.
ReplyDeleteI knew you would, Gorges...We Minnesotans are wimps when it comes to hot weather, which is really nothing compared to what you live through. :)

ReplyDeleteYour plan has been pretty much my plan. Iced tea, videos and Kindle. My recliner is my best friend today. :)

ReplyDeleteRob...In true Minnesota fashion we whine when it is too cold and we whine when it is too hot. I think we really like October, though. :)
