Looks like our "leaders" are about to get us totally involved in the war they have been wanting. You don't send your troops to a country at war, just for the fun of it. And you don't suggest reinstating the military draft unless you want to send more of our soldiers overseas to fight.
There is a video out this morning that lays it all right on the line. Most of you are familiar with Patara over at Appalachia's Homestead with Patara. And if you are, you know she is totally a straight shooter who tells it like it is. I strongly suggest watching her video if you haven't seen her latest one already.

Given the word salad that this "authorization" is, it's hard to tell if our guys are being sent into Ukraine itself or are being sent to replace troops in Europe who have been supporting what's going on over there. If this "authorization" is anything like what Newsom does in California, it's rife with loopholes and powergrabs that will allow our "government" to go its merry way, with the rest of America left paying the price, be it getting killed in Kiev or financing further money drops into that country.
ReplyDeleteOne HUGE red flag to take away here is that reserve call-ups are being authorized because THERE AREN'T ENOUGH ACTIVE DUTY PERSONNEL to allow those already over in that area to cycle out. Biden might as well be on the phone telling China that we're a bird nest on the ground, to come and get us!!! He also might as well be standing in front of his red-lit-silhouetted jackboots telling America "The reinstituting of the draft is next, folks."
ANOTHER tell here is that he's also authorizing the call up of COAST GUARD reservists. ...I'm retired Coast Guard... The CG is under the "Dept. of Homeland Security." Reason being, it allows the Coast Guard latitude when boarding foreign ships, as it can do so as a law enforcement entity and not as a military one. If it were under the Dept. Of Defense, the CG boarding foreign ships would be an act of war. The CG DOES fold into the Navy during times of DECLARED war. The last time this happened was during WW2. The CG WAS deployed in Viet Nam and Iraq, running blockades and boarding ships trying to get into those areas.
My take on this is that no matter WHICH strings are getting pulled by Biden's puppeteers, it CAN'T bode well for America!!!
Well said, Pete...I am not an authority on the ins and outs of what is happening militarily. But what I do know is that the current administration cares about the population not at all. And cares for conservatives even less.

The authorities today arrested a man based on a hair found on a piece of pizza to hopefully solveda years long serial killer case but the effing Secret Service couldn't identify who left their blow in the White House. We are so screwed.
I am right there with you, Nursejoan. I fear that those power hungry in DC will take us down by continuing on the path they have chosen. But what really angers me is that they think we are too stupid to know what is happening. I am guessing I will learn a few new cuss words before all is said and done!

DeleteI find it remarkable that every decision this administration makes is the wrong one; you'd think a good decision would be made occasionally, even if it was accidental. It's almost as though the destruction of America is their goal. This announcement hurt my heart.
ReplyDeletesbrgirl...Folks who know a lot more than I do believe the destruction of America IS the goal. And I can't honestly say they are wrong. Every step this corrupt administration takes points in that direction.
DeleteWhen we take a look at the two previous world wars, we see how unified in spirit we were then. Young men and women lined up to join the military to defeat the enemy. Young men lied about their age to join, so strong was their devotion to patriotic duty.
But now our younger ones are taught that disrespecting our flag is a good thing. They think that men are women and women are men. They allow God only knows how many strangers into our country. And the list goes on and on.
Seems to me the evil ones are planning to send our kids and grands to fight for our own defeat. They have done their job well.
My heart hurts, too. As far as I can see, God is our only hope.
