Dead Computer

My main computer went belly up this morning.  The old one I am on right now heats up within minutes.  So I will be off line until Youngest Son brings me a new computer, hopefully over the weekend.  Other than learning some not so nice words while dealing with the dead computer, all is well here in my little corner of the world.

    Computer issues can suck rocks. Finally have the holes in my food storage reduced. Planning on my cool season plantings. My son said his Mom-in-Law woke up and said the crop issues are reminding her of when she lived in Russia and wants to stock up. I told him of things they can do that will not break the bank. Red

      Red...Lucky for me my youngest son came to my rescue and not only brought me my new computer, but also set it up for me. I was going through withdrawal. :)

      I am working on filling the holes, but still have a ways to go. Isn't it fun when someone who hasn't been stocking up finally gets it? Good for her.

    Bummer. I think they're like automobiles, they are DESIGNED to die young so you have to buy another.

    Yeah... My computer went off to Valhalla. It said "Press any key to continue..." I couldn't find the "any" key!

    ...Just kidding...

    "Not so nice words" are so therapeutic sometimes... Ask ANY sailor...

      Pete...I have never been able to find 'any' key either.

      Thankfully, I didn't have to use any of those not so nice words to set up the new computer. Youngest Son not only delivered it but got it up and running for me. Life is good!!

    Been there, done hat. I have 2 laptops, plus a tablet. My grandson has another tablet so I guess that's 2. Why because when I had money I bought back ups...the old need one buy 4..LOL talk soon

      Rob...Later on I will send both my laptops to the computer doctor to see if they can be fixed as backups. Thankfully, I have an external hard drive so I didn't lose anything important.

      In a few days I will send you an email. My wives family tree has some broken branches, which means some are not faithful to the spouse. DNA can o worms
