Prayer Request

For those of you who are so inclined, I have a prayer request.  My daughter has a friend.  She is widowed.  She is in a wheelchair.  She is on the east coast of Florida.  For several reasons she can not leave, so she is riding out the storm at her house.  Prayers for her safety would be much appreciated.  Thank you.

  1. The media makes money filling us with fear. It's a terrible thing, which leads to many hours of anxiety, while expecting the worst.

I'm praying they find it all just more hype, and they find peace when it's over.

    1. Jess...I understand about the hype. And I hope the storm amounts to little where my daughter's friend is. But taking no chances, I pray for her safety.

    2. F L O R I D A -- The governor just stated if you can't get out of any mandatory evacuation, whether for fuel or any reason at all, call 1-800-955-5504, right now! He said they will do anything in their power to help get anyone in a mandatory evacuation area out. Even if you are elderly, disabled, have pets, have no money, any reason at all they will get you and your loved ones out.

    1. Thank you, SJ...I have been watching, too, and I agree. It is going to be a mess when all is said and done.

  8. Jenn...Agreed. And it isn't just the hurricane victims. There is so much bad going on in our world right now. I have to consider prayer our ace in the hole and our only hope.
