You All Are Amazing

"Prayer is not a gentle knock on the door.  It is a FERVENT EFFECTUAL POUNDING on the doors of Heaven."

When I posted the request for prayer, I was a mother who feared losing another son.  Things have changed.

My son had a scan of his heart that showed no damage and normal function.  He had a stent put in one blocked artery.  He has a few restrictions and diet changes.  He goes home to his family tomorrow.

No one will ever convince me there is no power in prayer.

I can not even begin to properly thank all of you for your kindness, your caring and your prayers.  But mostly I thank God for listening and answering.

May that same God bless you all.

    1. deb...One reason this came as a huge surprise is that he is healthy, not overweight, works out at the gym regularly.

  7. Our God is an awesome God. And His timing is perfect even if/when we don't understand the timing or events. And I have to believe that having the stint in place now has got to be in David's best interest. Still praying. SJ

  9. Vicki, I could not be more thankful that God received our prayers and watched over David and his family too. Prayers are powerful! How fortunate we are to have faith in him and know his love.

  11. Thanks mom, and all your prayer warriors. Not quite ready to run a marathon tomorrow, but am getting my strength back and starting to feel somewhat normal. Bummer that I have to limit my Dairy Queen stops to once per week, and only a small blizzard. The Cardiologist said "all is good in moderation."

    1. David, we all had a sense of relief when your mom said you would be okay. Try to behave and follow the doctor's orders. Your family needs you and loves you. CW

    2. Son...I feel your pain on having to limit Dairy Queens. But if that's what it takes.....
I am just happy in the extreme that you are home with your family and on the road to recovery. You are well and truly loved.
