Right on! In my new neighborhood - all but one unit has a flag waving. And the downtown core has flags on both sides of the street running the whole length of the street. I may be living in a 'totally Blue state', but this town celebrates the flag.SJ now in California
SJ...I was a bit skeptical when you said you were moving to Cali, but you seem to have landed in a very good place. The fact that the most important of all the flags flies in your neighborhood is proof. Enjoy the holiday even if the dog might not. :)
And in my town, they had their fireworks on Sunday because so many people have family celebrations in a big way at their homes. So the city adapted. Yes, I'm loving it here. And someone at dawn drove through the neighborhood blasting God Bless America through their car speakers. And puppygirl is just fine thanks to a prescription med our new vet prescribed. Cheers, SJ
I have the flag, the bunting, ...the whole nine yards gracing Rancho Whybother!!! I make it a POINT to turn the stomachs of Lefties EVERY CHANCE I Get, here in the Wild West!!!
Good for you, Pete. Keep poking them at every opportunity! Seems a bit unfair to me that dead soldiers get only one day as do veterans and one day for this great land of ours, when there is an entire month to march in the streets celebrating perversion. Yeah. Fly that flag. There is none more important!

+1

ReplyDeleteAnon...It is wonderful to see so many expressing their pride in America. May God truly bless each and every one.
DeleteThumbs up in total agreement!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Celaina...I would like to believe there are more of us who love flag and country than there are those who disrespect both!
