Sorry. I know I have been out of touch again. Thing is - I am really tired of rants.
I understand that getting all steamed up about whatever the latest political insanity is makes for good reading, but I am just tired. I have arrived at the place where I know that no matter what I say, nothing is apt to change. Those in power love their power, even if it is to the detriment of those they should care about - but don't.
I am old. I have a number of projects I wish to finish before joining my oldest son in Heaven. And that is where my time these days is being spent.

The main reason I started writing again was that I missed all of you. But now I find myself using the time spent writing blog posts for family things I need to finish.

I get it, Vicki. There's only so much we can do. "The Powers That Be" hate old farts like us for two simple reasons; we remember what America used to be, and we're not afraid to wave red lanterns at runaway trains. The "kids these days" are going to have to learn the hard way, I guess. They want nothing to do with our warnings. I'll remain in touch with you via email, as I've been doing. ReplyDeleteI hear you loud and clear, Vicki. I stopped blogging last May after realizing I was just repeating myself. Those who agreed didn't need much encouragement, and those who disagreed mostly stayed away.
