Remaining weekend of sewing little pieces of fabric to other little pieces of fabric well under way. Other folks look at a weekend as a time to party. This little old lady looks at the weekend as a time to create. See you all next week - with pictures.
Have a great weekend doing what makes you happy.

Don't you like it when a plan comes together..
ReplyDeleteI sure do. Doesn't often happen, but it is nice when it does. :)
DeleteSounds more productive than partying!
ReplyDeleteI haven't the energy or the inclination to party any more. Would rather make stuff. :)
DeleteYou go, Girl...or Grams! I use the list and check method daily. It's a very motivating method for completing tasks. It gives one a sense of accomplishment...no matter how small. After checking off a number of tasks today I snuggled up with a very good book. A wonderful day! I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures of your weekend accomplishments! CW from Iowa
ReplyDeleteCW...It is kind of nice to get the chores out of the way first thing. Sort of gives you the feeling you had as a kid when you realized school was closed for a snow day. :)
DeleteI'm with you on the curling up with a good book. I have been known to do that often. But this time I have really been wanting to have uninterrupted time to just sew. That is relaxing for me and I like the results. I'll take pictures.
Even though I retired years ago, I still like Saturday and Sunday. I do chores on Saturday, but on Sunday I only do those that have to be done every day. It's still a day for me to just relax.
ReplyDeleteThis past week was not so great, between having to clean up all the mess from the storms, and not feeling well. But you do get a sense of satisfaction when you can mentally tick something off "the list" at the end of each day.
Harry, I'm with you on the best way to spend a Sunday. Unless I have something that can't wait, Sunday is a day to rest and take it easy.
ReplyDeleteI get irritated sometimes because I can't scratch as many chores off the list as I once could, but then I remember I can still do many things that some my age can't. Just takes longer. :)
Hope you are feeling better. That same kind of bug has been making the rounds here, but has missed me so far.
I got the chance to crochet a bit. And even knit. Outside work came to a halt due to it being so wet out there.
ReplyDeleteKristina...Good for you! Days like that are sort of like being given a bonus mini vacation. At least, that's the way it is for me. :)
