Sums It Up

That pretty much sums up my opinion of  the current administration.

However, one might add the term 'despicable' for the empty suit and it's handlers for using the murder of children to promote a gun grab.

Mr. President, we have guns to protect ourselves from people like you.

God help us.

  2. Our "government" fears us; America's ARMED populace. This was the EXACT intention of the founders of this country.

...We, The People MUST keep this fear alive at all cost...

    1. How soon, Pete...I'm not getting any younger. I really wish to live long enough to see our freedoms restored.

    2. I feel the same way, Vicki. If push comes to shove, let it happen now so that our future doesn't need to deal with it, and while the monster is still mortal. If we try and fail, at least we will have tried... My gut tells me that we're at the "now or never" precipice...

    3. Hi Vicki , let's not forget that God's kingdom is not of this world ! Those that have taken power in our country are on the side of evil . As Jesus said it is only for a season ... and they have their reward . Sadly the way many americans are behaving suggests judgment , I believe in the midst of this He will protect His people ... blessings , Patrick

    4. Pete...Our generations lived for the most part in reality and we dealt with whatever happened. Not all, but a good share of the younger ones live in a word of unicorns and fairy dust and have no earthly idea of how to cope with adversity. And we can expect no less from the 'everyone gets a trophy' crowd.

That little voice in the back of my head is screaming at me to do everything I can to get ready. I completely agree that it is now or never. This can not continue as is. Something's got to give.

    5. Patrick...I don't know what the future holds. I do know that God is in charge. But I don't believe that means, as some have said, that we can just sit back and wait for manna from heaven. We need to keep working toward preparing for whatever comes and working toward stopping the evil, with God;s help and blessing.

  3. Hi Vicki , didn't mean we should sit back and do nothing when we can be of help ... thats what the police did at the Texas school shooting ... about 40 against 1 ... the mom went in and got her kids out ! Don't worry to much about cowards like these guys going door to door confiscating guns ... they just don't have what it takes . ( millions of doors ... ) Blessings , Patrick

    1. Patrick...It is my belief that those of us who pay attention will do everything that each of us is able to do to save our country. It is those who have their heads completely buried in the sand that will one day wonder what happened. We know.

Those who preach gun confiscation need to be the ones who try to take guns from folks I know. Those same folks know of places where bodies will never be found, and that is precisely what will happen if they even try.

  4. Also Vicki I can't get it out my head that the people that are destroying america are really old , perverted , liars , cowards , lazy , not to smart ... so if it does come down to some type of civil war that side is at a disadvantage right from the start ! Blessings , Patrick

    1. Patrick...I doubt I will ever understand why someone would even want to destroy our country. I expect that hate and power and greed have a lot to do with it and that is just so sad.

  5. We of the deplorable bunch do find our circumstances 'despicable' and more, which I shall not say on your nice blog. It is going to take a miracle...many miracles to fix the mess. But I do believe in miracles.

    1. Yup CW...Proudly deplorable and threatening to become ungovernable. You are right. We need a miracle to get us out of this mess. And I, too, still believe in miracles.

  7. We're trying to do everything we can in the physical, as well as the spiritual, all while knowing our efforts may be in vain if God has different plan.

One thing I am struggling with is a pastor who has spoken out against what he called "hoarding." He has said repeatedly that God will provide all we need, as long as we have enough faith. I believe God could certainly provide manna from heaven, but will he? Plus, I feel

    1. Plus I feel... like I have spastic fingers 😉. Was going to say: I feel like we have been warned about what's coming and need to do our part, before we stand and let God do his part.

    2. sbrgirl...I believe the Lord will provide. He provides the funds for us to do what we need to do. He provides the opportunity and the strength to carry on. But I believe He expects us to do the work.

I have 15 people in my immediate family to worry about. Only a couple of them are on board with preparing. So I stockpile as much as possible to keep them alive should it ever come to that. I love each of them and I refuse to sit back and watch them starve.

Your pastor should know better.. God has given us examples for being prepared - the 7 who had oil in their lamps and the 7 who did not. The 7 years of plenty when he told the people to stock up for the 7 years of famine. I am pretty sure those at that time were not 'hoarding' grain.

We do not know the future, but we can continue to get ready for whatever comes our way.

  8. Amen, Vicki.

sbrgirl, I, too, struggle with the “God will provide” attitude. He already has provided us with brains and bodies and discernment as to what’s happening. I believe he expects us to use them!

    Keep praying and prepping, y’all.

    1. Very well said, Lucy Mom...God has provided many marvelous things. The very least I can do is use the gifts I have been given and prepare as I have been told to do.

  9. sbgirl, the way I see it is that yes, God provided manna, but the people had to go out and collect it daily, It didn't just fall into their open mouths!

    1. You have a really good point, chipmunk...I have to wonder what those who believe some government official will provide all their needs in an emergency situation will do when they discover that is just not true.
