to adequately convey the horror of Orlando. Or my total disgust of the politicians who are climbing over the bodies of the dead and wounded to push their agendas.
These folks express those thoughts much better than me.
Please pray for the families of the dead and for the families waiting for word on their loved ones in hospitals. And for us. We need all the help we can get, not only in dealing with terrorists, but in dealing with a government hell bent on making it more difficult to defend our homes, our families, our lives.
And we're still importing the murderous b_st_rds!
ReplyDeleteThe Left is doing a good job destroying this country. Buckle up - it's going to be a bump0y ride until after the election. If they win, we are doomed.
ReplyDeleteIt is truly a sad state of affairs that our nation is allowing to happen. My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families. I never go anywhere without protection as I live within 20 miles of a community where many of the "refugees" are being brought into. So much for rural safety.
ReplyDeleteAmen to that!!
ReplyDeleteGorges...And it will continue until American lives become more important than political ambitions.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, CM...It scares me to think about the damage that Obama and his ilk can still do between now and the next inauguration.
ReplyDeleteJim...Is there any place within our borders that is safe any more? Don't think so. And I think that most of the younger citizens don't even know how to fight back the way my generation and those before me did. We are at war, even though it is still undeclared. You are wise to carry protection at all times. Without the means to protect ourselves, we would be giving the terrorists permission to engage in shooting fish in a barrel. Which is pretty much what happened yesterday.
ReplyDeleteMary...I just don't understand how some folks can seriously believe that banning guns will accomplish anything except the mass slaughter of Americans. It must be lovely to live in a world of rainbows and unicorns and cute, fuzzy bunnies where we all sit in a circle and sing "Kumbaya." And that, of course, will get us killed. God help us.
ReplyDeleteWell phrased
ReplyDeleteGrace and peace.
Pumice...I have a hard time trying to wrap my mind around the fact that political agendas seem to be more important than human lives. Within a couple of days it will be back to the name calling and mud slinging. Right up to the time when another terrorists slaughters more Americans and we repeat the process. We just never seem to learn.
ReplyDeleteOur whole family has been dumbfounded by these actions. Orlando was our home for 6 years. My oldest son who is straight went with many of his friends who are gay. Thank god my son had not been there for many years but its knowing they had gone as friends just to have fun. That's what everyone was doing Sunday night having fun, now they had their lives cut short by a madman.
ReplyDeleteRob...So glad your son wasn't anywhere near the club. It is scary to think that a place that was the scene of friends getting together to enjoy each other's company was turned into a killing field. I'm not so sure that the massacre was done by a madman. The radical islamist terrorists know exactly what they are doing, and will continue to do so because they believe people have to either follow islam or die. Be careful. They are everywhere. I keep waiting to hear of something similar happening in Minneapolis, given the fact that our state government is as stupid as our federal government when it comes to "refugees," but it could be here or where you are. Nobody is safe any more.
ReplyDeleteI read some where that a very dangerous place to be is in a 'gun-free zone'. Might as well just paint a target on your back, imo.
ReplyDeleteRead your links, thanks for posting them.
SJ in Vancouver BC
I guess people have forgotten that Sunday is the lords day. I am hard but remember in the bible "Alas Babylon"
ReplyDeleteRevelation 18
9. And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
It is a sad thing in fact horrendous but the signs of our lifestyles are there if we are brave and honest enough with ourselves to admit we see them.
SJ...I agree. Any place where the ability to defend ourselves is forbidden is a place where we invite those who wish to kill us to do so. I am irritated when I see those who oppose our right to bear arms are often the same ones who are surrounded by armed bodyguards.
ReplyDeleteFiona...I agree that we as a nation desperately need to get back to the values that this country was founded upon. At the same time I look at this latest horrific attack on our citizens as just that - an attack on Americans. It could just as easily have been a massacre at Disneyland or Mall of America or a baseball game. Those islamic terrorists want to kill you and me just as much as they want to kill any other group of Americans. There are lifestyles that I do not agree with, but at this time perhaps we would be better served to set aside our differences and concentrate on ridding ourselves of the terrorists who wish death to all Americans.
ReplyDeleteVicki, things are getting out of hand really fast now. It's good you've done all the work you have to be ready, and good that you have solid family members around you. I don't know how we got to this point, but the downward spiral seems to be accelerating. I am going over the plans we have up here to deal with significant disruption, and reviewing the kids bug out capability and needs.
ReplyDeleteHarry...I agree. Even before Orlando, it seemed to me that whatever it is that will bring on the downfall was speeding up. I would not be at all surprised if obama found a way to postpone the election and stay in power. I am not letting up at all, but continue to do everything I can to be ready. Thankfully I have help. I have been reading about the economic collapse in Venezuela. They are having power outages and other shortages, but the big thing seems to be food. I am working on other things, but my main focus is on food. If we can eat, we will be in much better shape than those who haven't bothered to set any aside. That curse about "living in interesting times" seems to be pretty much spot on.
