The temperature is 61 degrees and rising. There is sunshine and blue skies. A soft breeze finds its way through my open windows. After lunch I may go sit out on the deck and soak it all in. Even the scenic view of the parking lot for the bar next door can't put a damper on such a lovely day.
Ah Spring. You were worth the wait.

Sounds lovely. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWe're having a day with 'liquid' sunshine but thankfully the thunderstorms missed us.
Cheers, SJ
It is always a plus when the storms go elsewhere! Don't forget the dog's raincoat. :)
DeleteI may have to put the top down on the car for the ride home. Duane
ReplyDeleteGo for the gusto, Son!
DeleteIt is, Gorges...One of the nicest days yet.
ReplyDeleteIt was barely 50 here today and still rainy. I became ill again and am freezing. More blankets, please! I suppose you get some free entertainments some nights since you overlook the bar parking lot.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon, Linda. The bar next door is one of those small neighborhood bars and as such usually isn't too rowdy. But every once in awhile there is some silliness that makes me laugh.
DeleteAfter days of rain, we have a clear day but very windy, and only 52 degrees outside. I'm not venturing out unless I have to.
ReplyDeleteHarry...That's one of the perks of retirement I like the most - don't have to go out unless I want to. The forecast here for the next week is for temps in the high 60's and maybe up to 70. It is such a relief after so much rain and cold.
DeleteJust in from playing in the dirt. Probably did too much but oh, how fun! The forecast is for five days in a row of 'not raining'. Today was full sun and blue skies!
ReplyDeleteHope you got outside to enjoy the spring weather. Cheers, SJ
SJ...So glad the rain has finally let up so you can go 'play in the dirt.' Another gorgeous day here. The sunshine feels so good. :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't Spring great! We've got our yard cleaned up, the patio set cleaned, I have bought some flowers and have been outside much more this last week So great! Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteYou are spot on, Jenn...Due to health issues I don't go outside much except to sit on the deck and bake in the warm sunshine. But I am enjoying the warm spring breeze through my open windows and listening to the small birds chatter and fuss at one another. Soon the city workers will be hanging baskets of petunias from the street lamp poles and filling the flower boxes that dot the sidewalks with more flowers. The bicycle shop downstairs has filled their window box with geraniums. Life is pretty again. :)
