Nothing

I have nothing to write about lately.  Just passing the days doing a little sewing, a little crocheting and a lot of reading.  I have settled into the routine of my cleaning lady, home health care nurses and grocery delivery.  There is so much crap going on in the world that it is hard to pick just one thing to rant about.  Sometimes it is overwhelming.  And I can do nothing to stop the train wreck that seems to be overtaking my beloved America.  So instead I am enjoying the simplicity that is my life.

Go read those in my side bar.  Lots of good stuff there.  I will be back next week, hopefully with some inspiration.  :)

  1. LOL - Keep posting occasionally anyway, so we know you're still "percolating."

    1. Gorges...I'm not going very far :) I'll be back after the weekend.
Just can't seem to find anything to write about. And I need a break from all the bs coming out of Washington. We have another snow storm headed our way over the weekend. That should be interesting since the forecast is for 6 - 24 inches of the stuff. Mother Nature is off her meds!

    2. There's supposed to be rain for us this weekend, and my studded tires are supposed to be off by Sunday. However, that rain COULD be a little on the white side, since we nearly always have a little ice or snow about the time the studs come off. I'm leaving them on until after the weekend just to be safe. I hope your snow turns liquid and runs away.

    3. Gorges...It doesn't take much to put a layer of ice on the roads. I would rather have the snow than ice. Smart move, leaving the studded tires on as long as possible. Checked the forecast a few minutes ago. Snow is supposed to fall here all day Saturday. Duane picked up a couple of items at the grocery on his way home tonite. He says he is glad he has the next three days off from work and plans to stay in all three days. Some laugh at me and my deep pantry, but they are the ones standing in line for supplies before the storm hits. :)

  2. I quit watching the tv news a few months ago. I just couldn't deal with what's being said.

Hail fell yesterday at lunch time! Crazy weather here as well. I did take my snow tires off already. No snow in the forecast, fortunately.
Had a little sad news on Tuesday, the dog's blood work came back showing a potential issue. Love his vet - she scheduled another round of blood work this Monday and encouraged me not to be too worried, yet.
Have a good weekend. Cheers, SJ

    1. SJ...I catch the news headlines, but don't get into it any more than that. Here in the States we seem to have lost our collective minds - so much hate and discontent.

Snow started to fall about 9 pm and is supposed to continue most of the day tomorrow. I am so glad I can just stay in and pretend it is spring. :)

I sure do hope everything will be OK with Dog. Glad you have such a good vet. Please let me know what you find out.

  3. I almost blow a gasket when I see the news. It keeps my blood boiling and pulsing. I can feel it in my temples.

    1. Linda...I think I need to know what is going on in the world, but I am so tired of politicians spending time fighting like kids on the playground.
