Election Day

If you are running for office, I don't want to hear about the bad things your opponent did.  I want to hear about the good things you did.

I'll be so very happy when election day is over.

  1. I have to agree. I'm so tired of the constant mud slinging and this is what I will do for you. Prove to me what you have done. I'm tired of empty promises from both the left and the right. I'm tired of paying more than my share of taxes while those that don't pay any continue to complain about what they don't have. We need real leadership and real solutions to the problems this country is facing.

  2. Ever notice that the folks who want in there the worst are always the least qualified for the job?

  3. Jim...I think I might be willing to settle for someone who has a basic understanding of the word "truth."

My son is of the opinion that anyone who collects welfare should be required to take a drug test before receiving their hand-out. He says he has to pass a drug screening in order to earn the money that is handed over to them, and in all fairness, they should have the same requirements.

I wonder if real leaders exist any more.

  4. Gorges... I think that those who want to be elected the most are those who are more interested in money and power than they are in serving the people. Don't need much in the way of qualifications if your priority is greed.
