Veteran's Day



Chickenmom over at Chicken Feathers has a good post concerning Veteran's Day.  She gives a history of the day much better than I can, and it deserves a read.  It is my opinion that those who have served and those who are currently serving have more than earned our respect.  I am grateful for each and every one of the men and women who have sacrificed so much for the country I hold dear.  May God bless them all.

    My wife and I went to a local steak house today that had a big discount for veterans. The people there were especially nice to us. Made us feel good.

    Harry...What a nice way to spend the day. It is good there are places like that willing to show their appreciation for the service of vets. I'm glad you both had such a good day.

    CM...You are welcome. I really liked your post and thought it needed to be shared. I hope you are right. Our veterans deserve so much better treatment than they have received in recent years. That needs to change.
