There is light at the end of the tunnel...

and also in my living room.

The windows guys showed up bright and early this morning.  They don't know how lucky they are that I had already had my first cup of coffee.

They are busy tearing things apart and hopefully, they will be just as good at putting them back together again.  On the up side, it is not below freezing outside this time.  The plywood that was covering one window opening is gone before I painted flowers all over it as I had threatened to do.

I will return when things get back to what passes for normal here in my little corner of the world.  :)

    1. Kristina...I thought that some 1960's hippie flowers would look good, but sadly, I didn't get them painted in time. Kind of wish I had. :)

    1. That' funny, Pete...That hole in the wall now has glass. I honestly was beginning to believe I would be looking plywood for a very long time.
The trim isn't up yet, but there is hope. :)

  6. Well be sure that light is energy efficient, don't want to piss off AOC. She may have a stroke...

You should have painted the plywood white, and put "insert window here" on it it big bold letters.

    1. Rob...What AOC thinks about anything is not high on my list of what to worry about. Anyone who gets upset over cow farts doesn't deserve to be taken seriously. :)

Love your idea about painting the plywood. Wish I had thought of it!!
