Spring is here. I can tell by the sound of the neighborhood kids skateboard wheels on the street. And by the long legged teen aged boys doing tricks on little bikes in the alley across the street.
Actually, it's kind of fun to watch them.

Guess it's quieter than "kick the can."
ReplyDeleteBlustery here, and still chilly but it feels a bit more like Spring.
ReplyDeleteGorges...I don't care if they make noise. I'm happy to see kids outside as opposed to hunched over a computer playing games!
ReplyDeleteHarry.....We had a beautiful day here. Temp got up to 60 degrees with just a breeze. Weatherman says rain and possibly snow flurries this week, but I'm happy with each nice day this time of year.
ReplyDeleteGood point, Vicki!
ReplyDeleteGorges...I see so many kids who are so glued to a screen - phones mostly - that they can't carry on a conversation unless it is in text form. So I love seeing the kids playing outdoors. And by the way....I'm old enough to remember kick the can and anti-over and fox and geese!! All played at a two-room country schoolhouse.
ReplyDeleteWe have the same here. Lots of folks out walking today it sure was nice.
ReplyDeleteRob.....Yeah, I was one of those out walking. Was just too nice a day to stay inside!
ReplyDeleteYep, time for me to break out my skateboard. We're covered in pollen.
ReplyDeleteStephen.....We aren't at the pollen stage just yet - still waiting for the last of the ice to melt. I'm lucky - pollen doesn't bother me, but I know many who hate spring for that very reason.
